Having grown up with a profoundly deaf parent I have had the opportunity of observing and liaising with many audiologists and audiometrists over the years. When James Roxburgh opened his Acute Hearing Clinic in Drummoyne in 2012 with the mission statement "to provide local residents access to professional, independent and affordable hearing care" I was somewhat dubious due to my past experiences. James and the Acute Hearing team not only lived up to that promise but surpassed it with their genuine personal interest and desire to really meet the individual's needs. Since then James Roxburgh has become "our family Audiologist" helping us not only in addressing hearing loss but also teaching us how to prevent it. I have recommended James and Acute Hearing to many of my friends and all those who been there say, like my family, "We wouldn't go anywhere else now!"
