Very mixed feeling with this place. I had some rude barstaff and some nice one. I had bad experiences with drunk people and good times. I understand why some security guys are strict, but some are super rude on power trip. I guess its still better than Ivy in City
Unfortunately I have to give the venue just a one star. Because most of my friend network considers this pub a watering hole, I find myself coming back to this venue mostly for that reason alone. Yet I am made to feel unwelcome by the venue’s security service, always for reasons that have never been made fully clear to me. The first time I faintly remember as being simply for, apparently, closing my eyes during dancing. With dancing clearly a mistake, at later dates for some reason I have also been escorted out just while sitting and drinking at a leisurely pace, to great embarrassment for me in regards to friends I was with. Only recently I was singled out for footwear alone, footwear that was acceptable to the venues I had already been to earlier in the night. Obviously to bring up the issues at the time is always treated as being disingenuous, so I feel the need to address them here. My experience does not feel random, nor justified, especially given my low rowdiness. While the servers themselves are generally very nice and accommodating, and the atmosphere is otherwise very unique and distinct, I still must give the venue my lowest rating due to the security superceding a vast majority of my personal experiences here. I hope these issues can be addressed in the future, as I would like to have common late-night destinations with my friends.
