The shop has moved from its previous site in Collins Street. The member of staff immediately came to greet me and point out the selection of teddies that are made in Tasmania. I found the shop less attractive than on the previous visit in 2017. It has less space than the old shop and there was nothing to attract me to stay very long to browse.

Absolutely awful customer service. I put a toy on hold that my child had wished for from me for her birthday on a short trip to Hobart. I had rung to arrange for it to be posted to me and yet the shopkeeper gave it away to someone else who claimed they were picking it up on my behalf. Shopkeeper didn't bother calling me to confirm. When I calmly called to alert them to the situation the shopkeeper was hostile and defensive. Simply not good enough. Absolutely horrible experience all round. Had she said she was sorry and that she had no idea what she was doing, or had taken on board a suggestion to ring me, the original customer before giving it away to someone else, it would have ameliorated the situation. Instead she raised her voice and gave me a serving.
