Resume writers helped me get my dream job! I’m newly into my career as a healthcare professional and recently I applied for my dream role which I thought would be many years away. I was a little late to engage resume writers so they only had about a week but Jacquie was responsive, timely and made me feel more at ease. I had applied for 5 jobs over the previous 6 months and had not got to the interview stage for any of them. Like most I don’t like talking myself up but Jacquie helped to craft a document that highlighted my acheivements in a way that came off as confident and humble. It was personalised, professional and required few edits - of which Jacquie offered and provided. An added bonus was that the process helped me prepare for my interview! I found The Resume Writers via a brief search online as I needed a locally-based writer to assist in re-writing my old resume. Jacquie was very professional and patient with the requests I have for the new resume. She tailored it according to "the Tasmanian context" and pointed out various flaws of my previous resume and why I wasn't getting results. The resume and CV she produced for me was of a very high quality. Jacquie also took the time to go through about how to edit the formatting to adjust the resume and CV to various job contexts. Another good thing is the physical office for me to drop in and discuss face-to-face with Jacquie with regards to my resume requirements. My previous resume writer conducted the business solely online, so having an actual office which you can visit makes things so much easier. To any fresh graduates or professional seeking a new resume, I highly recommend The Resume Writers. Thanks again, Jacquie!

I am really disappointed with the service I received. The initial phone conversation with Jacquie was great, it really helped me break down the position description and start forming examples that summarise the key criteria. Jacquie then took 5 days to return a resume and cover letter. The resume and cover letter were very generic, and based on feedback from colleagues I had to change them dramatically. I updated the cover letter and sent it back to Jacquie, hoping for some editing as promised. Jacquie did not reply, and has not replied since sending the initial resume and cover letter. This service used up valuable time when working towards a dead line. The writing was generic, not personal, and I didn't like the style or language. In my opinion it looked like a resume anyone could have downloaded from the internet. This service may be helpful for entry level public service jobs, but for anything else Jacquie is out of her depth and she dishonoured the services she claimed she would provide in her quote. Save yourself time, stress and money and look elsewhere. Reply to below: Hi Jacquie, that is correct - I recently created this account and I have not made any reviews previously. I was really disappointed in the service and lack of response when this was expressed directly to you via email, and felt it should be shared. I have contacted you by email already, but will do so again as requested. Update: Hi again Jacquie, yes – I have changed the name of my account. As you pointed out I recently created this account and I am just organising my privacy settings. I am not sure how that is relevant, other than an attempt to discredit this review. Just to clarify, YOU sent me an angry email regarding this review on 8/1/21, so you are very much aware of who I am. I responded to your email on that same day again explaining my dissatisfaction with the service. I am yet to receive further response.
