I've had the pleasure of working with Andy for years, and I really do owe a lot of our marketing success and follow on business to this man. He's shot work for all our businesses (Frank Restaurant, Smolt Restaurant & Smolt Kitchen), assisted with the building of our websites, helped us with large scale festival promotion for events like the Taste Festival, Mofo and Dark Mofo, and even managed a personal portrait of myself just last week that made me and my ugly mug look pretty damn fine if I do say so myself. This doesn't even come close to covering he's personal work (Old Sea Dogs of Tasmania is he's recent stuff). Look If you've read this far down my review, your already commited! The Shank There are many perspectives of the south and west coast - from first timers to 60 year fishers - 4kn yachtsmen to 50kn ab divers! I’ve read lots of books about Port Davey and Macquarie Harbour, James Kelly’s circumnavigation, The Huon Pine Story, Fleeting Hopes, Garry Kerr’s works, Jack and Jude’s blogs and guides etc and gleaned little bits about various anchorages from different sources. It’s great to see a useful guide to all the major coastal anchorages in one place and will be a real asset to mariners venturing south and west! Great job! I was talking to a large trailer boat owner today who caught the bug three weeks ago with a visit to Louisa Bay - and ordered the book online while we were talking!
Andrew has done a great job in taking a whole load of disparate ideas from different people and bringing them together in really neat and tight package that works well and looks great. The best testament to his work was when our site was demonstrated at an industry forum and we could display a functionality that other participants immediately wanted on their (directory based) sites. Wholeheartedly recommend
I have been inspired always by the works that I have seen Andy produce over the years. His ability to conceptualise and bring to life a product of quality on the screen is something special. Not only is he a great screen producer, Andy has a humbling nature and a great sense of integrity which is felt within the teams he works with. Love it!
Andrew spent time understanding where we were at as a business, and where we wanted to be. He made recommendations for specific formats for our new brochures and designed them to suit. He helped us get a clearer offer, as well as giving us some nice looking brochures to use. Very appreciative of his inputs.
