Absolutely disgusted! Was offered 260 for a SOLID 24CT GOLD COIN 10.3 grams in weight that is worth 637 IN SCRAP METAL PRICES!!! that's 377 LESS.....LESS than scrap. That's not fair and he knew of the coin before I even brought it in so he knows the value of the gold content alone. I can't understand how it could be legal to knowingly try to rip someone off especially for so much difference in price for scrap metal prices, not to mention the ACTUAL VALUE OF THE COIN WHICH is over 120 years old and in excellent condition. That in my eyes is not honest, fair or legal. I WOULD RATHER THROW IT IN THE DRAIN THAN DO BUSINESS WITH HIM ( I am talking about the older guy, the ACTUAL owner of the shop) If I could, i would have given NO STARS.

My partner used to frequent this store as a youngster when it was located in Greensborough so the owner has decades of experience. We came in here looking for a blank coin album and walked out with a few other items we couldn't resist. In addition to coins and stamps they also have a few curiosities from Roman, Egyptian and Byzantine eras. The service here was nice and chatty and informative. We would definitely like to go back here at some stage.
