Good for kids
Fairly easy walk, managed with a 3 and 5 year old. Beautiful scenery, just lovely, though a little tricky to find the beginning of the walk from the road if you blink and miss the sign!

This is an amazing hiking trail for dogs. It can be a bit muddy after rain. Most of the trail is easy with few small drops. Plenty of parking available as well. This is one of areas in the blue mountains region where you can take dogs.

Its a great place especially with younger kids if they don't mind walking and like bush walks. Best visited soon after it rains, however I advice don't go during rain as it could be too slippery. There are 4 waterfalls in the same region. Don't expect too great, but the walk is more enjoyable.
Found by accident while stuck in a traffic jam going to Katoomba. Decided to skip the traffic and take a side trip to Hazelbrook. Found a walk taking us to Horseshoe Falls. Beautiful spot. Horseshoe Falls itself, you can walk behind the cascade and stay completely dry. Many other destinations along this track such as creeks and a few other equally beautiful waterfalls. It can get very wet and sloppy underfoot so make sure you wear good shoes. Short but steep tracks in places so a fair amount of fitness is needed.
Beautiful walk for a family, but quite difficult due to mud at some points. Signaling could be better.

Such a great walk. Waterfalls are great after a lot of rain but the track is usually very sloppy.. it's generally worth the trade off though. One thing that bugged me was the area. There were mattresses and rubbish floating along the stream and the people in the area are very sus. We had a bunch of teenagers randomly yell at us as we left.
