The pricing is good but you do get what you paid for. Our icy tea and hot and sour soup is lack in flavor, my ricr was lacking on pork topping and the egg was really cold.

Terrible service, tasteless food, you won’t get the cutlery unless you ask, and the lady is rude, and their bin is outside next to your dining table, for the food, we order the shredder chicken on rice, the chicken is COLD, like just take out from the refrigerator COLD, we ask the waitress about it she walk back to the kitchen and said that’s the way they served, and give us another small bowl of Cold chicken... (why would I wanted???) as a girl come from Taiwan I will say this is totally not the way this dish should be taste like, if you want taste some disappointed dishes this is the place, otherwise, stay away from it.

I have been here a few times and tried a few dishes: - spicy beef noodle soup, the hotness was delivered - deep fried pig blood rice cake with garlic, a super tasty mix of flavour that went well with a beer or a bowl of rice - noodle soup with pig large intestines and oysters, a perfect clash of pungent flavours that went well with a thick soup base similar to a hot and sour soup The restaurant can do with a makeover by replacing the chairs that look quite dated. The service can also improve as I noticed a few issues: - only one set of cutlery placed between every 2 seats, so customers often have to ask for the additional set - food was delivered to the table but not dropped off in front of the customer Overall, this place a bit on the expensive side for the food/service they provide.

Love this place, nothing fancy but food is amazing. I am nepalese but the food here is close to taste back home. Me and my husband go for dinner after work here often. Love the spicy chicken chilly which is amazing. Recommend it!

Very authentic, filling Taiwanese food and not too expensive. The MP01 Combination Pork and MC03 Three Cup Chicken are certainly my recommendations to try. Service lets this place down a little; like many places in Chinatown you have to wave frantically for attention. Otherwise great.

Bad food, poor value, small helpings & indifferent service. Scarcely any seafood in the mixed seafood hotpot at 15.80. Just tofu & sauce with no vegetables, two very small pieces of squid the thickness of a chopstick, 1 small prawn & two tiny pipis. That was it! Other dishes no better. With so many other better value restaurants around, there is no reason to dine here. Worst Asian food experience in 20 years for me.

Used to come here while I was studying at Macq Uni. A great place for nice Taiwanese style food. Loved buying the combo meals. A great selection of teas as well!
