I come across with Swinburne University, by chance while checking around courses for science. Haven't been to school for the last 31 years, you looking from where to start. So, I enquired, and suprise I've started Certificate III for further education. Very welcoming, understanding to what want to to achieve. The class is with different ethnicities and backgrounds, and cultures. The part I like mostly.
Undergraduate enrolment experience consistently unhelpful, dismissive and at times obstructive. 'Live chat' not answered for hours, telephone calls not returned for days - repeated attempts handballed. Emails unanswered. Crushing experience for a teen trying to navigate an adult world. Definitely best attempted by the very thick-skinned. Career advisor at secondary school told us not to bother applying to Swinburne, guess they knew something we didn't. On the plus side, teen has accepted first round offer from a higher ranked institution with scholarship.
Swinburne University has a great civil engineering course. The subjects are developed with assistance from industry making them all very relevant. In addition to their helpful teaching staff which often go out of their way to assist students with their issues makes for a great university. I would highly recommend Swinburne. I should also mention that the photos taken are of the Hawthorn campus.

Anywhere but here! Swinburne Online- no words for the nursing department and this course! Find somewhere that will support you and not "professionally suggest you unenroll from this course" even though you are more than passing. The one is for the Online student support and advocacy who actually help
