My family and I have been patients at Harrington Park Medical Practice for 11 year’s continuously. Yes, at times you wait a long while after your appointment time to be seen, but you ALWAYS get thorough attention and excellent medical care, not just from the doctors but also the pathology nurse and clinic nurses. The receptionists have NEVER been rude or impatient. The fact that you often need to wait your turn attests to the popularity of this practice.

I’ve been using this Medical Centre for about 12 years now. All I can say is that the reception staff, office manager, nurses and doctors are second to none. Their caring and professional manner Is worthy of more than five stars in my opinion. I’ve read the negative 1 star comments and if you read between the lines anyone who goes to this Medical practice will know that these comments could only come from a person that nothing at any business would make them happy Yes I have been to this practice with an appointment and I’ve had to wait longer than my appointment time, but they get emergencies that have to be dealt with immediately and sometimes we have to wait. In all the years I have been going there this might of happened three times. Big deal! Get over yourselves and show the reception staff and office manager the respect they deserve. They have never been anything but caring and understanding to me. I love this practice and as far as I’m concerned it is the best Medical practice in the MacArthur area. I have recently been quite ill and have had to visit the practice regularly. Dr Abi Hanna has been amazing, the reception staff have been so patient and accommodating and nurses/pathology have been great also. I haven't found the wait times to be out of the ordinary for any doctors surgery, and the service and doctors are worth the wait.
Wonderful family practice. Like they used to be, where the nurses know you, the administration ladies know you and the drs know you. This 12 months have been difficult, not for covid reasons. Seeing Gail and Renae actually turned into something I needed. They both gave me the time if they could of course because they’re busy dealing with hundreds of people on the daily. Oh yeah and the drs are wonderful! Yes there can be a wait sometimes a long wait. But I believe it’s worth it for the wonderful treatment myself and sons receive.
One lady receptionist (age in her 50s, not tall) there has no manners and zero sense of customer service. this is not the 1st time i had bad experience with her. She is not there to help you out. Her body language is like ‘don’t come to me’. Few days ago my little one had bad cough, when i visit to medical centre, i’ve been told to wait outside and GP will ring me to come in. i have no problem with that. i understand all. but after 2-3days cough didn’t improved, even she got bad sinus infection, couldn’t sleep from last gew nights. i was getting late for my work, so i rang today to get quick walk in by not coming in and explained the last time appointment story. finally had appointment after 1hr. Doctor rang me, and that’s where this **** attitude old lady comes up. She is not happy to listen me, looking me like ‘go back’. Her body language is so unfriendly that it is like she is insulting. as i already had enough with that lady before so i decided to visit another Medical Centre. I AM NEVER GOING TO VISIT HARRINGTON PARK MEDICAL CENTRE again, never ever ! And to that lady- if you don’t like your job, and don’t want to help out people, better for you to leave the job. before someone talk to you like in your language on your face.
Opens at 830am. I had an appointment for 10am. It is now 1115am and I am still waiting. I'm sure there have been a few queue jumpers too. Why can't we bill these places for our time?
Thank you to the staff, nurses and and doctor we saw (sorry I forgot to get your names) this afternoon for my son's cut finger. You were amazing, caring and professional. I really appreciated it and thanks for putting me at ease and seeing and bandaging him up so quickly.
I’d give 0 stars if I could. It’s not how terribly bad the receptionist is at communicating, but her attitude when you ask her to clarify herself that blows me away. Not the first time she’s been rude, but it will be the last. Here’s a tip: employ someone who understands people are calling your business when they are sick. Yes we know you are busy, but we are not calling you because we want to be your friend. I certainly hope your employers want you to at least pretend your customers aren’t a nuisance to you. Everyone is entitled to have a bad day but today hasn’t been the only time I have experienced rudeness from reception. Obviously an owners relative, I’d hate to think anyone so unprofessional deserves a job dealing with people.
