Everyone here is lovely. Obviously if you need to use an emergency vet your pet is very ill or injured. The staff are reassuring and your pet gets excellent care. Hope I never need to use their services again but would not hesitate if the situation arose.

I attended this clinic with my rabbit who nearly died. She stayed overnight with the vet here, was discharged the next morning and we took her to our vet that afternoon. Our vet said she was amazed and the effort and care they extended to my rabbit, stating that most emergency places will simply keep a rabbit alive until they can go to your own vets as they are not experienced nor have the correct stock and equipment to do what's needed. Our vet said she couldn't praise their work enough and that they had definitely gone above and beyond for my rabbit. For one professional to say these things about another business for no reason impressed me and gave me the assurance of complete honesty.

My cat Albert spent a couple of nights at AEC Hallam earlier this year, while he recovered from a urinary blockage, and then a perineal urethrostomy, which was performed onsite. The staff were wonderful, Albert was seen promptly and treated professionally and with compassion. I would not hesitate to bring any animal to these guys in the unfortunate event of requiring to.

I found the veterinarian here very professional, empathetic and caring. Very reassuring in such stressful circumstance - it was evident that she really cared about the outcome of my pet and she simply wasn't "just doing her job," I'm very appreciative of Dr Angel and the great vet nurses. Would recommend.

Honestly don't waste your time/money. Useless is too nice a phrase. I took my cat here when he couldn't lift his tail at all etc. After hours of waiting they had no idea what was wrong with him..Then I took him to his normal vet the next day and they find/fix what's wrong in less than 2 minutes..at a 1/4 of the cost..And it was VERY obvious what the issue was. Do not recommend in any capacity.

We were told that we could pick our dog at 8am instead of 6am. This wasn't true. The rest of the experience was expensive but about what we expected from any one. The service, aside from the above, was beyond reproach. They were understanding, helpful, quick, and very smooth. For an emergency, they seem to be completely prepared. They were even solicitous to my daughter who was upset about her dog's mishap.

Couldn’t fault the service and the specialists! We had to rush our little Dachshund to the AEC for emergency spinal surgery (she wasn’t walking, back hunched and in pain). We waited in the waiting room no longer than 5 minutes, where their specialist, Dr.Alistair, made a diagnosis and rushed her in for surgery. Without their speed and knowledge, she would no doubt have deteriorated and may not be here today. We are forever grateful for their services!

The staff were all very friendly and calming in what was a stressful time for my daughter and I, they looked after our toy poodle carefully and addressed the issue with efficiency and we were able to take him home to rest. Thanks to the emergency team at Hallam, our little fur boy seems much better this morning.
