I had my bub here on the 27th December 2020 and couldn't be happier with the service I received from the nurses, midwives and doctors. They were all fantastic! I had my own private room with bathroom and window with fantastic view. It is a shame that there isn't a paediatrician on at all times but that's to be expected in a smaller town I guess. Don't waste your money on private health! I've spent time in Buderim Private Hospital for another surgery and it was terrible compared to Gympie Maternity Ward. Aircon was dodgy, bed was dodgy and service was nowhere near as good.

Thank you to the wonderful staff in emergency and short stay for your wonder service. I'm from Brisbane and would be happy to return to this hospital.

The Gympie Mental Health team; especially Kellie, Chris and John, are outstanding. They should be commended for their exemplary efforts. A lot is needed to be done about the Emergency Department- especially with regards to mental health and broken bones.

Having spent time in Rehabilitation I would like to thank physios, pnurses and doctors for their excellent care. The conditions the staff work under is could be vastly improved also visiting hours more family friendly e.g. same as other hospitals10am to 8pm.My family couldn't visit because the allotted times were not compatible with work.
