Interesting little Persian eatery. They do have some traditional Persian dishes, which offer the gastronomically adventurous something different to try outside the standard Middle Eastern fare available elsewhere. Good food, and very generous portions (most dishes can easily be shared between two people). Bread is good, but doesn’t taste exactly like the Iranian bread available in the Middle East. The decor is unique & attempts to give out a sense of traditional authenticity, but is a bit over the top for what the restaurant is and ends up giving the opposite effect. They also have an extended space out at the back that could be used for small gatherings.

Sangam is a traditional Persian Restaurant. People are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is nice. I tried several dishes. Some very delicious such as Kale Pacheh while some such as Ash were surprisingly low quality.

Normally go there for Kale Pache. Last time I was there, the food was tasty and fresh, also the portion size was quite generous. There were minor issues with the service which can be improved. When I communicated with them, they took my comments really well and tried to fix the issues very quickly which was impressive.

The food was fantastic, very clean, delicious and authentic Persian environment. The staff were friendly and polite and the price was reasonable. Every thing was great. If you are into authentic Persian food, definitely go there.

Went midmorning and they took my order for bread. Then was advised they can only give half my order. 1 minute later I was told they can't give any bread because they expecting a busy night at the restaurant. They refused to serve me. I guess because I was not wearing Islamic clothing. Very poor customer service. Will never go there again.

Excellent food and friendly service. Our meal was delayed but the staff informed us of the situation and apologised due to a larger table's order that were causing the delay. There were two of us. This ensured the experience didn't sour for us. We ordered the kebab special, meat was delicious and rice well cooked. And the eggplant and split pea stew with tomato based sauce. The flavours of this stew were incredible. The stew was nice and hot so make sure to wait for it to cool down a bit. We also got the eggplant dip (Kashkeh bademjoon) as entree, which was served hot also. We were delighted by this as most places serve it warm or even cold. Will be going back for sure!

Yummiest food and most generous servings! Really recommend the mixed plate and rice with barberries. Oh! And the pistachio and saffron ice cream. The staff are so helpful and nice! The decor is incredible, magical and otherworldly but homey. It felt like we were travelling even though we were still in western Sydney.
