I went to Gosford hospital as I was not feeling well. I found it easy to park but you have to pay and also easy to find the emergency department. There were plenty of people around to guide you and make sure that you were not infected with Covid. My experience at this hospital would have to be five stars out of five as everyone was so helpful and kind. All the staff there were dedicated and hard working. A very professional and well oiled machine and I thank them very much for taking good care of me. This hospital says it all. We need good public hospitals to keep us all healthy. I would also like to thank all the people that fort to keep Gosford public as it has payed off.

I have had 2 new shoulders by Dr. John and his team, I can't thank everyone enough. Contrary to some hearsay, the food was terrific, I even had ice cream! Now some months on I am pain free and can do stuff, I had put up with joint pain for years, silly me! All the nurses were wonderful too, sometimes I could see they were very busy, it did not phase them, maintaining a smile.

Not a very good hospital. The nurses are friendly and reassuring (well most of them anyway) but the doctors have a real attitude problem. I can understand they may go through a lot of frustrating patients and prone to stress from lack of staff, but they shouldn't let that carry through to other patients. Also, be very careful what you tell this hospital, because they will absolutely without a sweat use it against you. I had them send me back like 10 times, later they discovered I had a massive stone in my gull bladder, which they successfully took out. Don't judge a PATIENT by his cover.

Our son had sustainted two facial lacerations, one resulting in leaving a large flap of skin dangling from his cheek. The staff were very caring and professional during the whole process, hence leaving my wife and I with a very welcomed feeling of confidence that our son was going to be ok. We brought our son to the emergency department at around 4.00am and he was home by 4.00pm the next day. In that time he was assessed, had tests, had an operation under a general anaesthetic to repair his cheek, spent time in a ward and released to go home. My wife and I we're sent home during the process and received regular updates via phone calls from the Amazing nursing staff. All three of us want thank ALL Staff at Gosford Hospital for being so caring and professional, hence making the experience far less traumatic and drawn out than it may have been. We are truly blessed to have such great staff at our local hospital. Thank You.
