I live in the central west of QLD and unexpectedly had to have my precious Roxanne euthanised because of illness. I immediately had Pets Rest in Peace in mind for Roxanne's cremation as a friend works for the company and he often spoke about his role with sincere compassion. I contacted businesses closer to me - just in case I couldn't get released from work commitments. The closest (300klms away) one at Mackay, although polite, could not accommodate my needs - as I needed to have the service performed over the weekend; I wanted to have Roxanne with me - there and back. The company at Emu Park finally responded to my voice message two weeks later and were extremely rude!! I contacted Beric and he was extremely helpful and accommodating. I thought "Bugger work - I will drive the distance required to ensure my baby girl received the respectful service she deserved". Beric stated he would always do his best to accommodate people's needs - especially those of customers from the rural sector who have lengthy distances to traverse. Beric and his daughter met me on their day off and Roxanne was cremated and given back to me in her lovely urn by the Sunday. They obviously didn't have to go out of their way but they did and it made the whole ordeal of losing Roxanne just a little easier to cope with. I have had a few dogs cremated with other companies around Brisbane whilst I lived there, not one of those experiences can compare with this one. Beric and his daughter seemed quite sincere, I didn't feel like I was a business customer. I obviously highly recommend this service for your much loved pet, I am so pleased I had heard so much about them prior to requiring their service.
I had my horse cremated with this company back in 2014 and they were absolutely amazing. Beric was lovely and nothing was rushed. I used this company again today to pick up another one of my horses and Ian was so thoughtful and unhurried as well. They have really made a difficult time that much easier. They treated not only me with the utmost respect but my horses as well. They are an awesome team and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to cremate their loved ones. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Can not recommended highly enough. PETS RIP in Toowoomba have recently cremated our second dog. The level of care is exceptional.
Some of us don't just have pets. We have loved ones. Lost my little outlaw & mate RINGO. These guys were VERY caring of me and my grief and didn't just talk, they were there for and with us both. RINGO & Me.
