I am Andrew’s wife, Jolie. We spent last night at Mavs for my 40th birthday celebrations. Right from the very beginning we were welcomed into the venue with warm friendly service and that high standard continued throughout our evening with all staff members. Mavs was exceptionally busy and service did not seem to be compromised at any stage. The food was delicious and we could not fault anything. There were 8 people on our table and we each had entrees and mains that we all shared tastes of with each other around the table. Everyone was impressed with the food quality and flavours. I am so grateful I took up my friends recommendation to go to Mavs. As soon as I walked onto the premises I felt like I was no where near Geelong. We will definitely be returning to Mavs and supporting such a wonderful place that was truly an experience I will never forget.

Incredible service and absolutely delicious food. The prawns were huge and the lemon potato was melt in your mouth. I would recommend this place to anyone. It made our trip to Geelong even more special. It sets the bar really high for an all round enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for having us feel so welcome and cared for!

We love coming to Geelong all the way from Melbourne and when we are here Mavs is our favourite spot. We are fussy eaters when it comes to Greek food and Mavs never disappoints us. Great portions fresh every time from the meat to the seafood. Love the ambiance the hosts are beautiful people and the staff is very friendly and responsive to our needs. Great place if you’re visiting Geelong it’s the best Greek restaurant a must place to eat.
We came from Melbourne to see the Rone exhibition at the Geelong Gallery and I googled restaurants close by. I cannot say enough great things about how fantastic the food was! Huge portions and unbelievably fresh. Better than that was the really attentive service. The floor staff were busy - but VERY accommodating and willing to explain the traditions behind the dishes and the ingredients. We had a wonderful afternoon. Well done Mav's. Thank you
We want for lunch and the food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive. We started with an entree of the (special) zucchini fritters. These were light and crispy, and we could have ordered more if we didn't have mains coming. We both ordered souvlaki - one chicken, one lamb - and these were flavourful and the meat was tender and juicy. The wine list had a great selection both Greek and local, so it was nice to try something we weren't as familiar with. It was a great experience and a lovely lunch.
OMG!!!! Amazing food, the best staff and service. We had dinner there tonight for our wedding anniversary, they were run off their feet busy but did not make you feel rushed... thank you for a delicious night, we will definitely be back
Absolutely cannot fault. Food is incredible, tasty and served in decent sized quantities! Price 100% justified in the amount and quality of the food. Service is the best I've received from any restaurant, ever. Staff are all genuine and happy to help, friendly and always smiling. Best place to eat out in Geelong.
