Went here to find some extra outdoor pots. Wasn't disappointed, the largest range I've seen in the Newcastle area. They have a great website too, to research first, saw they had a pot sale, and got in on the last day of their 30% off pot sale.!! Helpful male staff member was able to provide good advice on site, and we found what we were looking for at 30% off. Awesome range of home decor indoor and outdoor, but, in my opinion in the very high price range. Healthy large variety of plants also at high end of pricing. However if you are looking for that elusive plant or decor item, or pot, you are most likely to find it here. A lovely place to browse. Looking forward to their renovated cafe reopening soon to check it out .

Great nursery with lots of variety. They have taken away the kids playground which is a shame and have a staff member who can sometimes be quite rude but the plants are so good that these things don't deter me from retuning again and again.
Great nursery. Our garden designed by Darren. You are able to explain your ideas and he makes it happen for you. Stress free experience always. His work crew are great with advice and extremely professional. Customer service has been fantastic. Highly recommended. Will continue to return.
Plant selection was great, plants I bought were also awesome and healthy. Next time I came to get some soil I asked for the pricing for some Sandy loam top dress or equivalent which they had. But the lady told me that isn't the one I needed, I needed a different top dress. After explaining ive checked what's needed for my lawn and the sandy loam is what I needed the reply was a very LONG "Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll....... its " Almost like she didn't wanna sell me what I came for and that I had no clue. Ended up getting it elsewhere Rhymes with "Gee Cowan" and lawn looks mint. 3 stars for the healthy plants, 2 gone from the sandy loam top dress incident..
Great place if you're looking for good quality plants. So many varieties of plants and homewares. Price also competitive. Friendly staffs.
Had the pleasure of visiting last weekend, great range of plants and homewares, staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Poppy's is a nice large nursery but everything is quite overpriced and staff aren't overly nice in my experience. Most things found at Poppys can be found cheaper elsewhere. However, they occasionally have a unique plant or pot which is worth the price. Overall, I recommend visiting when Poppy's is having one of their 30% off sales but otherwise I wouldn't bother.
I am a gardener. I always visit this place. This is safe during covid. The staff are friendly.
