Murray Bates He taught all my 3 children to drive. Is exceptionally reliable, trustworthy and professional. I highly reommend his driver training company and him as an instructor and director of the company. All my children passed first time on the driving test. if you want the best driver instructor and training for your children or yourself then port stephens driver training and Murray are the best you can ask for.

Booked with Instructor Murray for driving test warm up lesson in Nelson Bay. He turned up in car that was less than sound, extremely clunky and rubber wore off from the steering wheel onto my hands, however I continued and hoped I would just get some good advice and confidence. I just wanted a few pointers before test but got very little confidence from him in my driving skills and knowledge. Unfortunately I did fail test and he then said “I knew you weren’t going to pass, you haven’t had enough lessons.” Overall extremely unprofessional and would not recommend.
