Warm and welcoming atmosphere! Dee listened to my hair concerns and provided her knowledge and expertise on products to care for my hair without feeling judged or a burden like I would leaving most hairdressers because of my biracial hair. Dee is fun and it was a wonderful experience. Very pleased with the results I received.

Didn't feel welcomed on arrival. Got the hair extensions I wanted so at least that was good. Don't think I'll be back again.

I personally wouldn’t have an inexperienced person working on a new client who could potentially be a regular customer. I mean if you have to give instructions on how to do a basic wash and conditioning then it’s better to not use her as a first impression. I understand that other staff were busy at first, however I would have appreciated it if experienced staff had taken over the first chance they got. At the very least you could notify the client that you’re training someone new, that way one can have the option to decline the service rather than paying 80 for that. Another thing is how could you not have basic products such as a heat protector especially when dealing with natural hair?? You could have simply offered to go get some from the hair shop just next door... That’s a big no. I was a disappointed honestly. I find that Perth African salons tend to take customers for granted, especially when dealing with African customers. Also there’s so much information available online nowadays on how to take care of natural hair. Dee, updating your methods couldn’t hurt. I could literally see my hair smoke while being blow dried even after I had made it clear in the beginning that I was only looking to have my hair dried and not necessarily styled via heat, this doesn’t need to happen. Needles to say I walked away with dry crunchy hair right after doing a deep conditioning treatment

Staff were very attentive, paid big money for a haircut but to me it was just a trim.
