This is a great restaurant with good parking (but can get busy on weekends). We always phone ahead and book but you could just arrive and try your luck. The food is of good quality and varied. My wife loves the fact there is a gluten free menu with a large number of dishes to choose from. Prices are more than fair for both food and wine. Staff were polite and efficient. So in summary if you want a good meal with cute surrounds in the great village of Sassafras - try this place.

It's really nice place with beautiful bright interior. Food was really fresh, nice and ambience was wonderful. Nice flowers and lights in every corner. Menu was simple yet had everything you could ask for. Staff were mostly really friendly except for when we asked them to give us the table that we wanted which was empty (she pretty much forced us to sit where she was more comfortable with). Other than that, the staff were super friendly, helpful and attentive.

We visited Fortnums a couple of years ago and last week again and we were so impressed that I had to give them a review. The staff were very friendly and pleasant to deal with, the food was excellent and well priced. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful backdrop (we sat outdoors). I would definitely visit again and only wish that they would also offer a dinner menu.

Great service, lovely atmosphere. Went there for lunch as walk-ins. Although they were fully booked, they managed to give us a table.

Excellent service, we went a few weekends ago and had the afternoon high tea. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was delicious, perfect amount of jam and cream for the scones and a tasty assortment of savoury snacks to start with.
