What an absolutely wonderful experience I had purchasing my new Volvo XC40 T5. I was greeted in the showroom by Jackson, a friendly, down to earth genuine sales man. Not once did I feel intimidated or pressured, as I've previously felt when looking for a car. My husband and I have purchased three new cars between us from various dealerships on the Sunshine Coast (where we live) and not one of them offered the level of outstanding customer service that Jackson gave me. The drive to Brisbane was worth it! The whole purchasing process ran smoothly and the communication from both Jackson and the finance department was faultless. If you're looking for a new car I can't recommend Volvo Brisbane North enough! Go and see Jackson, you'll not be disappointed! Oh and I love love love my car!

Now is my time to chime in regarding Graham Gruva's review of Volvo Brisbane North. The individual responding to his review ('the owner') should have actually taken the time to read what his main issues were...i.e. a lack of customer service and not returning his phone calls. To then tell him to call the General Manager is simply offensive and again shows a lack of regard for the customer. As a professional marketer with more than 30 years experience managing customer service teams I find this response completely lacking. You have Graham's contact details from when we did the test drive and also his phone number from the multiple messages he left. You certainly know who we are from the situation arising regarding the validity of your pricing and not identifying own your own website that the 5k 'cash back' had in fact already been taken off the price - have you had your Marketing Department take a look at that yet? Or still undertaking misleading advertising? General Manager, take the time to call Graham back and actually listen to what he has to say, even if it may be critical. It is the only way you as a business can better meet your customer's needs going forward. I am only leaving my own separate review as there was no opportunity to respond to the one already left.

I was here for the 2nd time for the Open Day and I love how the team at Volvo Brisbane North create meaningful family events to promote their cars and set up workshops tours for guests. I have a good experience with one of the new car salesperson a year back as well, explaining the difference between MY18 and MY19 etc on a XC90. However, during my visit today, I wasn't attended to even after 10 minutes of searching the entire dealership for a staff to chat to. Not a big issue at all but definitely something to improve on.

I didnt actually buy a car but the service I received from Jackson Valentine was exceptional. His relaxed i.e not pushy, approach was really appreciated. He was honest about the cars and answered all my questions thoughtfully without any B.S. At no point did I feel pressured. Other car salesmen could learn a lot from him! I will be back if he has a car that suits knowing that hell be very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend him!

Worst attempted purchase and customer experience. Poor attitude and not sorry, so now considering complaint to ACCC. Test drove S60 and was ready to purchase, but the net price they said was 5K higher than what was advertised. I had to point out that their website had the car as an MY20 runout (1 of 10) which had the car as 57k drive away, with a 5k cheque or bank tfr within 2 weeks of purchase. Salesman reluctantly said he could see how I believed that it was applicable and after speaking to Manager, then said that the Manager rang the Marketing people to ask why it was advertised that way. I let them know I wasn't happy I had wasted my time and asked them to come back to me later that day which the salesman did. No sorry at any stage. Take it or leave it approach. No contact from Manager, who was quick to talk to us before test drive. Felt like they just wanted me to go away. Salesman was to ring back after speaking again with Manager to see if they would do anything. No phone call so after 3 days rang and left a message to ring back and (no surprise) still no phone call. The laugh is that all any of them had to do (particularly the invisible Manager) was to say 'sorry, we made a mistake, but we can't discount the car further' and I probably would have bought the car. All I got was too bad, this is the price, the brand is undervalued in the marketplace and the S60 will be 5k higher on 1 Jan. No sense. So, if this shows the ethics, then so be it.
