I'm not familiar with Iranian food but what they serve here is just delicious. I especially love the barberry rice and the chicken. The flavors are so well balanced that you never want to stop eating either. And the baba ganoush - when you put it in your mouth you're hit by an intense smokiness that's just unreal. I felt like I'd found the ultimate eggplant dip and didn't have to look any further for a better one. I give this little unassuming eatery at least a 9 out of 10.

Koobideh and barg kebobs are not easy to get right. This places does them to perfection. The rice, char grilled tomato and salad are also perfect. Kashk-e-bademjan is full of flavor. Faloode is fantastic and tea with nabat great. Last but not least customer service is top notch. These guys are very polite, friendly and welcoming. After a long search, I can say I have found my favorite Iranian food in Melbourne. Thank you for your hospitality team Caspian.

In the mood for Persian/Iranian? Caspian is definately a place you must try if you are ever in the area. The portion sizes are generous and flavours authentic. Extremely satisfied with my meal and with the service provided by the lovely staff.

I’ve been to several Persian restaurants around Melbourne and on the Gold Coast, and this one is one of my top 2 favourites. One thing I can say that is noticeably favourable is the price, which is cheaper than the others but the quality doesn’t drop off at all. I love the artwork on display showing a bit of Persian culture. Plenty parking out front on Springvale Rd. They offer 5% discount if paying cash which is enticing and I think more restaurants should be doing. The dinner I had by the way was delicious. The sides was well complimented.

Nice little Iranian cuisine. The food quality was perfect with just a right portion. The only complain is that the tables need to be cleaned a bit more.
