My father and I went there on Friday (they have been our family solicitor) since we moved to the area. The kindness they showed my father and myself was beyond words and also the advice we were given was very helpful and they did not charge my father anything for the consultation and he was there for nearly 1 hour. Brilliant! What was meant to be a very simple sale and purchase of property turned into quite a mess due to curcumstances out of our control. Thank goodness we were using Egisto Solicitors as they helped our family navigate a very difficult time and provided us with great advice and direction. We ended up sorting everything out. We had nothing but polite and non judgmental help from them. They even welcomed us in when we would show up without appointments to get something done urgently. I found the team to be very professional and provided me with the guidance and support I needed to help me get through my issues. They were informative, compassionate and very professional when dealing with my issue and talked me through the processes.
Unfortunately I cannot report having had a positive experience with Egisto Solicitors. A simple question and instruction completely stumped the team. A number of calls and emails chasing an answer proved utterly useless. I then learned and am now in possession of written proof that my instruction had never been acted on, and my question was certainly never answered. The Managing Partner suggested she get her violin and play it to me whilst I explained my frustrations over the phone. That should really tell you everything you need to know about this group. Humans are not infallible, and I would have accepted acknowledgement and an apology. Instead I was treated poorly and they attempted to lay the blame for their mistake on me, their client. I paid for the privilege of being treated atrociously. This was an entirely simplistic task, and it has degraded into pure, disgusting behaviour. Do not expect to deal with professionals. These are glorified paper-pushers with highly questionable comprehension skills. Proceed with caution, or better yet, not at all. NOTE: The flood of positive reviews posted after mine is really the icing on the cake, don't you think?
