I just want to say thank you to our hosts Cathy and Craig for a wonderful stay at the Valhalla Horse Riding property. We booked the weekend package but wanted to do come mid week, which they were more than happy to organise for us. Our cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything that we needed including plenty of food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and a welcome pack of wine and cheese on our arrival. We especially enjoyed having our breakfast on the back terrace looking over the creek and listening to the birds. We had so much fun riding "our" horses through the bush. One of my favourite things of the whole experience was the fact we were able to have our horses Baileys and Banner in a paddock next to our cabin over night. I loved waking up, making a coffee and coming to say hello to them first thing in the morning. We had a really nice time. Thank you!

Wouldn’t even give 1 star to this joint. Worst place. Don’t waste your time or money. Looks run down and we went to go horse riding, no one was there to greet us. Rang them and they said bookings essential - no where on the website said to book. Rude person over the phone, not apologetic at all. More people waiting for horse riding and no staff to be seen. Very let down kids for the pony rides. Wouldn’t recommend.

My partner and I come to Valhalla each year, and each time we stay at the fully furnished cabins. Also, horse riding !!! Great team ! Great place to visit, i can guarantee you wont be disappointed.

This local business has led horseback rides into the peaceful bush of the Shoalhaven interior for more than 30 years. This stud for Appaloosas is embedded in over 100 acres of picturesque native bushland on the Currambene Creek and has more than 30 horses to suit all levels of skill and experience. A variety of packages is available, but for first-timers the best bet is the 1-hour ride, in the company of a friendly and experienced guide. If you’re in the area with smaller members of the clan there are led pony rides that children are sure to love

Had the best day with my partner, the horses and staff were so wonderful! Would highly recommend for a nice walk through the bush! Accomodate for all needs and levels and we were lucky enough to go for a trot too!

My friend & I have just returned from a delightful two night, three day package stay at Valhalla Horse Riding & Farmstay. Cath & Craig were very kind hosts. The cabin was very clean & comfortable. The food was amazing - plentiful, varied and very fresh and wholesome ( plus included a few treats like Tim Tams!!). The local area was very lush & green after all the recent rain, & we enjoyed a pleasant walk on the first afternoon. The three trail rides included were great. I am a beginner rider and Cath kindly looked after me. My friend is a more experienced rider, but we were both given horses that suited our skill set. They currently have 15 horses who all seem well cared for & happy. I would highly recommend this get-away if you want to do something a bit different. We went mid-week. It was very good value for money.

Awesome time here, the tour guide Craig was a legend, spun a few interesting tales. We took the 90 minute trail ride through the bush, very natural beautiful. My horse, KB, was well trained and easy to ride, I could still control him and he wasn't all about following the horse in front. I would go here again, just wish they did proper lessons!
