Wanted to charge me just under 1700 to send my car from NSW to SA. after questioning the cost they reduced it to about 1300. When my car arrived it had external damage, I had before and after photos from the person selling my car on the AD and also the condition report. The worker in SA when I picked up my car told me that its common for this type of damage to occur and told me to do a claim through the company's insurance. So I called the company and they told me to put all of what I just said in writing, so I did, then they responded a week later saying my 5 year old car has just got lots of wear and tear and the damage was from wear and tear. obviously just trying to get out of processing the claim. I even gave them another chance and said ill write a bad review, they didn't respond.

Competitively priced quote compared to others so booked online only to be told - by email - that they want another 180 which put them way more expensive than the other quotes I acquired. Based on the unprofessional email contact, I started to think the whole thing was a scam so I called them. They said it was because their website calculated the quote incorrectly and took no accountability at all. Person over the phone was extremely arrogant and no one acknowledged any fault. I'm just glad I had this experience before I handed over my car and was able to cancel as I can only imagine how difficult they would be to deal with for damage claims etc. Plenty of other carriers out there that are cheaper and actually give half a sh*t.
Carways failed in every regard to get my car from Canberra to Sydney. I would not recommend them ever. They advised of a delivery date and time and then did a no show!! In addition, Jill from the Sydney office has zero customer service capabilities, she gave incorrect information, was rude, difficult to deal and completely incompetent. If you happen to get Jill on the phone, I suggest you ask to speak to someone else.
Carways arranged transportation of my 2016 Skoda Octavia RS from Melbourne to Sydney (door to door) and everyone involved in the process was brilliant, from the girls in the office to the chap who dropped the car off to me. Pricing was better than anyone else too. 100% recommended - Keep up the good work guys!
