I was unable to find safety boots that were big enough until I heard about Wideload Saftey Boots from Footwear To Fit. I've been wearing them now for 2 weeks without any problems. Sarah was very helpful and understanding, highly recommend.

I went to what used to be called Gadean at West Beach last Wednesday, after a gap of three years. I remembered it as a place where staff could not be more helpful and were always able to supply me with a pair of comfortable shoes for my difficult feet.. But all had changed -- first of all the name which is now something like "Comfort footwear". When I managed to rouse the assistant (she was busy telephoning - I had to wait till she had finished) she showed no interest in me whatsoever, rather seemed to resent me for having interrupted her. I expected to have my feet measured and a selection of shoes produced which might suit them (as used to happen). Instead she just pointed to a selection which was displayed on a table at reduced prices and said "see anything you like?". When I asked about sizes she very reluctantly looked inside the shoe to find out. No advice at all was given on what might be suitable for my feet. I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience and definitely will not make the long trip out to 701 Burbridge Road to whatever it is called now to buy footwear.
Also I do like to ring them ! So i know were they come from.
As I am someone with bad feet, I went to Footwear To Fit and I was very impressed with the service I received. Sarah and Annette were very helpful, I purchased the appropriate shoes and I am very happy. I will be back! Thankyou girls!
