Dr Lauren has been our paediatrician for both of our children - I cannot speak highly enough of her! She is warm, calm, non judgmental and a clear communicator. She provides practical and common sense advice and really brings a holistic approach to care - this is just so wonderful as it means the focus is on both the child and the mother who is so often forgotten. Dr Lauren's practice manager, Lynnelle, is exceptional. She is warm, efficient, and has a great sense of humour - it is an added benefit that she is also a qualified child heath nurse. Following birth, Lynnelle sends regular emails that contain really helpful evidence based information and resources about what to expect each week in the newborn period. This is such a reassurance and comfort. Lynnelle always responds promptly to any email queries.

As a parent I found Dr Lauren very easy to talk to and I felt at ease with discussing my concerns and worries. She was understanding and empathetic, and as a mother of young children she 'gets it'. After some challenging medical experiences in the past, my daughter (Miss almost 5yrs) has developed a fear of doctors. However from the moment we walked into the room Dr Lauren's interactions had my daughter relaxed and happy to be there. I would highly recommend Dr Lauren Watson to every Brisbane parent.

I met Dr. Lauren at the maternity ward when she came to assess my baby's health when he was first born. She has since become my son's doctor. Lauren is very easy to talk to, she doesn't judge and doesn't try to impose things on you. She spares time to not only talk about the baby but also about mom - who often gets forgotten! You can tell she loves babies and reads a lot to keep up to date with the latest research and findings. She's always been spot on with diagnostics and I can't recommend her enough!

It was such an emotional rollercoaster and Dr Lauren was so understanding, knowledgeable, kind and always made time for our questions. A paediatrician who knows and enjoys her work, and cares about her patients. When our first child came out 3 weeks early and needed some special attention, Dr Lauren Watson was a blessing. Dr Watson showed professional care towards our little boy, but also had the wisdom and understanding that the new experience of having a child meant, we as the parents needed clear communication and care as well. She did more than we expected. Dr Watson was excellent, we would recommend her as a paediatrician to anybody!

We discovered Dr Watson a couple of months after the birth of our third child. As we don't live close by, our children had been seen by other paediatricians. Dr Watson was recommended to us by our trusted family GP for a second opinion so I was happy to travel to see her 40 minutes away, and so glad we did. My third child had been given a diagnoses that didn't feel right to my husband and I. Dr Watson listened to our concerns and agreed to try a few different things. And it worked!!! He is thriving!!!! She is non judgemental, friendly, open minded, listens to the parent and is very thorough at assessing the child. So much so that I have started taking my 4 year old to see her aswell. A very friendly environment. Great interaction with my children. You can see she loves kids! Her receptionist/practice manager Lynnelle is amazing aswell. I highly recommend Dr Watson.
