Highly recommend this venue! I didn’t get any food, but I will be back! I saw some plates served and some food being prepared and it looked delicious! My smoothie was delicious, and left me satisfied. Customer service was exceptional, every single person that attended me had a genuine smile on their face and watching them all work together, they had a very vibrant, happy dynamic. Nothing better than going somewhere where the workers look happy to be there too! Music was great! 80’s/90’s hits...can’t go wrong! And everything was clean and tidy! The decor is beautiful, the history behind the place and it’s evolution is awesome if you can get someone to explain a little bit of the place to you, you won’t be disappointed ️ Thanks for your excellent service team
Our exercise group loves stopping in on a Sunday morning for a coffee and something to eat here. Prices are reasonable. Never had any issues with the food or coffee. Plenty of things to choose from. Staff are all lovely to deal with. Never had to wait for a table. Highly recommend!
I went to Benny & Me on Saturday Night with a friend (Mr Alan Murphy) who had highly recommended this location and I wasn't disappointed. The place was very busy as they had a Birthday Party Event inside, but even with this the service was excellent and the food fantastic. We were treated very well by the staff and even had a chat with 'Benny' who is a delightful young man. If you are looking for a coffee, a drink or a meal, I would highly recommend 'Benny & Me' to anyone just passing by the Essendon area. It is a lovely place to sit, relax and enjoy a nice meal with friends.
The place is beautiful, with three different areas to eat, one of them in the backyard. The staff, mainly waiters, are super friendly. The coffee is great and the “Mr Benny” tastes really nice, however, the eggs was too cooked for a poached eggs (it makes me a bit disappointed). I hope to return there with another nice experience and get the numbers of stars raised.

Without a doubt the best cafe in Essendon! I don’t even bother going anywhere else anymore. Consistently amazing food and impeccable service. Haven’t had a chance to try out their amazing looking cocktails yet, but I know once I do this will be my go to for weekend drinks!
I have been coming to Benny and Me for a couple of years now and I have never been anywhere that has been so consistent in the quality of the food and service. The food is always so tasty, value for money and I always leave in a food coma. Today I have come in for both breakfast and dinner, amazing service and incredible food both times with a feel and family comfort I've never had from any restaurant, bar or cafe Keep up the amazing work!!!
