As a user of Winconnect, have to say that sorting out changing account details is extremely difficult. From 3 separate enquiries, my sister and I have received all different informations (via email and twice by phone). My sister was previously the primary account holder and since she was leaving the country we just want to "transfer" the account to be under my name. After submitting a written enquiry, they recommended her to disconnect and I to make a new account (that would charge us double fees). First call operator said that I should just create an account and that would automatically close my sisters account (only 1 charge). Since this information was not available on their website, we called again to make sure and after 15 minutes of back and forth we just then were told that we could arrange my sister to give me the authority to receive invoices and communicate on her behalf (no fees, basically account transfer). It certainly feels intentional to beat around the last and best option for us just so they can get the "disconnection fee", which was a fee for the technician to come by for last look-over(not necessary in our case, and this was already disclosed multiple times). Honestly the way WINconnect operate in terms of sorting out account details is so inefficient and I reckon their website should be updated. The customers will then be able to easily find information instead of having to call to receive inconsistent options available and sort this out by filling a form themselves to save time of having to spell things out over the phone.

I feel very lucky to find this organisation on google search, Energy and water ombudsman resolved my year long unresolved case with Simply Energy in just 5 or 6 weeks. I really appreciate your help.

I have a particular complaint with Red Energy. I have two new properties, which do not have occupants for 5 months, therefore 5 months ago we did not use the gas and energy service. So why should I pay more than 50 AUD for the use of 0 MJ each month? Is it fair that people are paying for a service that is not being used? What is happening with the companies in Australia? companies are charging what they want and nobody is supervising them, it seems to me an abuse of big companies to be charging for something that does not correspond when they do not even spend on paper, they never answer with a call and they do not even move from their desk! I will not change my opinion because you have not done anything for the energy companies to stop the abuse. I just got a bill for another unoccupied property for AUD 93 from Momentum! do you really do something for the people?

Great assistance from all i spoke to in the company. Where i had battled for a month or so direct with the electric company, EWOV helped resolve the matter quickly, with great communication, assistance and speed. Many Thanks

Ewov are a useless organisation that is simply a front for the big water and energy companies that manage complaints so they appear to be doing something . No law or logic is applied to their decision making and they are definitely partial to the big end of town . Waste of taxpayers money
