Empire Marina Cafe is so disappointing. We are often at the Marina, so have ordered different meals/coffees over the past 6 months. A flat white took 45 minutes to arrive; an order of fish and chips was just over an hour! A hamburger 55 mins! No, I am not making this up. I don’t know where the breakdown is, but something is totally askew. This is a captive clientele, and it’s steadily being totally trashed. When it comes, the food is good and the coffees hot - but the wait is a killer. So disappointing for a cafe in such a beautiful location, where many of the visitors make the visit with the sole intent of having a meal by the water. Don’t bother if you are time poor or starving hungry .

What a place to pop out to for lunch! Get the NSW Parks Pass for free entry. Food was fantastic, the basics done super well. Loved the light misting spray for a hot day under cover, nice touch. Ah! Also I asked for some vinegar with my fish n chips and that was no problem! Such a relief. Enjoy guys.
The location is sensational and the food at breakfast was tasty but the service let us down. It appeared that too much effort went into serving the takeaway customers while those of us who were eating in were left behind. No-one greeted us on arrival and several tables in the undercover eating area had dirty dishes on them for the duration of our meal. We ordered meals and drinks for 5 people, the food came quickly, was well presented and tasty. We had just about finished eating when our drinks appeared - 40 minutes after ordering and seemingly only after we asked the waitress where they were - the reply being sorry we've been slammed with orders. The dining area was not busy, there was, however, a fairly steady stream of people ordering takeaway coffees (perhaps a second coffee machine was needed). The young staff appeared to be run off their feet, I don't know how they would cope if the dining area was busy. Maybe it was an off day, we will visit again once more some time to see.

Beautiful part of the world. Broad range of boating services and helpful staff. Just wish there were more berths and moorings available. Very popular with local boaties
Fabulous Bistro! Really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food was delicious, the staff and management so friendly, and really good coffee!
Great place, easy parking. Has table service, sits over water and staff very attentive.
