Spent over 5k and not getting much aftercare help with bike cutting out under throttle. Bike purchased less than 12 months ago and done under 1500km and no warranty. No advice, and no suggestion how to help.

Emails go unanswered on two different occasions well apart so try calling, seems to busy or very selective as to who should be a customer .perhaps they didn't have the items and chose not bother My emails were to purchase not some obscure product enquires. Edit 12.11.17 Looks like inquiries should be submitted here Maybe next time.

Exceptional attitude and service. I had purchased a battery from overseas with EM3EV two years ago. The battery had water damage after getting caught in a storm up in Queensland. Emax are distributors of EM3EV batteries, and also have the inhouse smarts and equipment to analyse and (re)build batteries. Long and short was that the damage was fairly extensive, and not worth while attempting a repair. Most businesses would give that feedback and leave it with the customer to deal with. Emax took it upon themselves to discuss with EM3EV. The outcome was a replacement battery under warranty, even though the warranty had expired, as they felt the water leak should not have occurred. For their considerable time I was billed just 50 which was great value considering the new 1300 battery replacement. This type of pro-active service is normally the realm of US business, so when I see it here in Australia, I need to shout it out. Well done folks (especially Ewan) at Emax, and Em3EV, for the great ethics and service.

Ive been involved with bikes for over 20 years as a rider, racer, product tester, service agent, retailer and importer, and Ive worked with electric bikes in the past. To cut a long story short i was researching Electric bikes again recently and weighing up all the options when i stumbled upon Emax Bikes. I could have saved a lot of time if id found them sooner, but armed with all my research buying from them was an easy decision. They had what i wanted in stock, they knew the products through experience and experimentation, they would supply local support in the event of any issues and they were very competitive on price. Especially considering i would not have to deal with any freight issues that can arise from trying to import Lithium batteries and the items would be genuine, a major issue when buying from China. I needed a new cable during my bike conversion and Emax made it up and had it in the my letterbox the next day free of charge. if your looking for friendly, knowledgable advice without hype or outright lies then you will be more than happy with Emax bikes.
