My first time visiting the Vietnam Consulate. 12/09/2019. I've emailed numerous times to make sure I had everything I needed and just to make general enquiries. I was always answered as soon as possible and with all the information I needed. Brilliant experience. Greeted with a smile. Extremely efficient, no Chit Chat here. I even found out that I could get 2 Entry Visas at the same time. No need to worry about dodgy agents whilst I am away. Took I huge load off my mind. Fantastic. Handed over Passport, Application, 2 photos and Visa fee on Thursday afternoon. Collection first thing Monday morning. So pleased with the Information, Efficiency and no Nonsense procedure. Best Consulate experience ever. Thank You. P.S. There's free parking for an hour and a half.

Dealt with them a number of times and they have always been very helpful. Not the usual customer service, but that’s just a difference in culture, they have never been rude to me. Even when I walked in after closing time, they were still helpful.

Read many negative reviews from a student group so I was hesitated a bit but it turned out differently. Any time I called, there are someone to answer the phone. Trust me, I called Greece, Peru, Argentina etc. Ghost.., waiting longer than calling Immigration Office :). Sent my old passport on Mon, arrived on Tues. Called them to follow up on Thurs and I saw my new passport was sent back on Friday. It's pretty fast despite I'm using normal service (express one extra A50). The only minor thing they can do better is listing the price on their website. A staff said because of the exchange rate and I don't know maybe lack of regular IT staff to update. I wish they can list a clear price on their website so it's more transparent. In genral, it was a very good experience for me.

I was in the consulate for 30 seconds. Efficient and friendly service. I spoke to a lady picking up and she said the same thing. I am perplexed by the negative reviews.

Very quick (2 days) a little more expensive than on line 99.00 Aus. On line about 80.00 both for a month .

Incredibly uninformed and even misleading. Went there to apply for a tourist visa, having read there was no visa requirement for a stay under 15 days. The staff there simply said, this is not the case and insisted I have to apply for a visa there. And further said, the e-visa on arrival would be more expensive. More research revealed they simply gave me completely wrong information: - Yes, you can stay for up to 15 days without a visa (with my passport) - The e-visa on arrival is half the price of a visa applied for at the consulate

I found obtaining a Vietnam entry visa from the Consulate in Sydney extremely easy and quick. I live in Melbourne and before sending my passport via express post, I emailed the consulate to make sure I was following the procedure. I got an almost immediate response from a very kind gentleman called Hai (or Seal) who explained everything clearly. (I later found out that this was the Consul General himself). I sent off my passport and and someone from the consulate rang me the next day so that I could pay for the visa application by credit card. My passport and visa arrived at my home on the next working day. I have applied for many visas over the years and I have to say my experience with the Vietnam Consulate in Sydney has been by far the best. Congratulations to all the staff in the visa issuing section for doing an excellent job, and a sincere thank you to Mr Hai.
