Don't know why others are complaining, the food is a lot nicer than some of the junk sold downstairs. It's an eatery within a Westfield's - what do you expect? I enjoyed the dumplings (streamed & fried) and the chicken fried rice. A reasonably priced, quiet place to for a quick meal. Have been there several times.

While I worshipped the teriyaki chicken at Noodle & Dumpling Canteen, and we all loved most of the food, when the sashimi and seafood on the sushi doesn’t taste safe the venue is beyond salvation for me. The staff were just lovely and they even gave us little presents and I am horrified of such a negative food experience. Especially to such nice people. I do hope this was a once off but sadly for me I can’t bring myself to return. Full review is now up on Spooning Australia.

Terrible food and service! After waiting an extremely long time for dumplings, they arrived and definitely something very wrong, when we asked the staff they came over and used there hands to break the dumplings apart!!! Said nothing is wrong!! Made us pay for the dish they pulled apart. Worst customer service ever and unhygienic. Absolutely disgraceful standard of food and service.

Unauthenticate Japanese styled food. Fresh cooked tuna salad was actually tuna mayo and tasted like caned tuna (I asked before hand to make sure it was fresh we were assured it is but if it had consistency and taste of canned tuna why bother making it yourself?). When I asked to replace the Tina with something else I was told this is how it is sorry. Chilli octopus was good the rest including dumplings were below average. Poor food and service. We were dissapointed - won't be back.

If only I could give this place NO STARS !!! Seriously poor effort ! I'm concerned about the hygiene or lack of in this place ! I had to clean the table and the actual chairs we were sitting on Pescetarian family here (vegetarian seafood) Ordered Prawn dumplings & Vegetarian dumplings to be given PORK dumpling WTAF??? Then staff just said sorry re checked her writing to see if it was an error then said they will bring out the vegetarian dumplings only to NEVER RECIEVE THEM Quality of the prawn dumplings was -10 they were like rubber Would honestly prefer to eat a tin of CATFOOD no lie !!

We had to wait 45 mins for our food to come. Terrible food service and food. My dumplings were rubbery and weren’t cooked through. Don’t come here and waste your money!
