I had the absolute pleasure of attending the sourdough workshop run by Jan. I have always been interested in making my own sourdough bread and this was the perfect workshop to learn! The course was fantastic and Jan is wonderful at explaining the process and answering the many questions we had. She also offered a delicious selection of breads and treats made from Risen Flour products which showcased their amazing quality. I have always wanted to bake my own sour dough bread so my friends and I did a weekend sour dough class. I have experimented with a few flours since. It’s amazing when you make your own bread how you can taste the difference between specific flours you use. It’s been 6 months since starting and now only use Risen flour. The taste of the organic light rye flour with the mix of the organic premium white is what I’m loving at the moment. You can order online and have delivered too.
Love the variety of Flours and helpful recipes to follow. Great service and Professional advice. I have tasted many of Jan’s breads and muffins and I highly recommend her flours and recipes.
