Mesmerizing store atmosphere and even better customer service! We have been blessed to be served by a wonderful and very knowledgeable young lady (should have asked for her name) today, while purchasing our sons cello. We were greeted by an abundance of facts and suggestions, walking away with a fantastic instrument! It was our first time today, and we will definately be back! The service could be better. I liked their antique and fabulous shop and I was so excited to buy my niece's very first violin. One of their staff, Sarah? who was a kinda trainee, helped me. She was pretty friendly but didn't know much about what she was doing. like, she got us a wrong size violin and didn't know where the violin we wanted was. But I was kinda happy with her service, cos she was friendly and at least she tried to answer our questions. The problem was the Korean lady, maybe the owner of this shop? She was like, "looking for a cheapie?", "only poor people buy such violins". It was also really hard to catch a chance to ask her a question. I have no idea about violins, but no one gave us any explanation. We were in two minds about choosing a violin, between a new one and a second-hand one. Their price was just similar at around 500. We asked if the used one has better sound, and she was like, "Australians don't care about the second hand, but Koreans buy the new one. You're Korean, so, buy the new one". Speechless lol.
Ordered the Violin over the phone and spoke to Dietrich. He was very kind and very knowledgeable and took the time to assist me with ordering my violin. Since I am from the United States he assured me he would hand pick the violin in which I would gift to my wife as a bday present. I received the violin within a weeks time and could see the care that was taken to package the violin. The violin looks and sounds amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful and patient when showing me the different types of violins they have. It's comforting to know there's a place I can go to get genuine assistance. It's also string haven. Definitely going back again. Thank you!

I recenty visited Animato Strings to see what my next instrument would be, and was surprised at the stunning level of service I was given. I was shown a cello and a few violins so I could see what I'd prefer to learn, I ended up going for a mid range violin which I'm already in love with. For the gent that served me, I'm getting better I promise. I will be getting lessons though after the Christmas break. All in all a great shop with loads of knowledge and great staff.
