Another superb night by Olsen Catering. This was our second time meeting Grieg who knocked it out of the park again, helped with service by Lee. High quality and tasty local produce, technically sharp cooking, beautiful presentation and charming service. A great night with friends if you want a special treat in the Dunsborough region. Incredible food and excellent service! We enjoyed Olsen's Catering for my partners birthday down in Eagle Bay on the 1st of August 2020. Everybody was absolutely amazed by the quality of the food. I loved the rack of lamb, in fact it was the best lamb I have eaten. The terrine entre and the cream brulee dessert were also top of its class! The timing and delivery was exceptional given the fact there were only people preparing and cooking AND were in an unfamiliar kitchen which of course adds a lot of complexities. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Greg and his team to anyone wanting to exceed their expectations. Thank you for making a special weekend even more superb.
Absolutely flawless. Grieg is a master craftsman with flavours from around the world. He selects sensationally fresh produce and combines textures and culinary ideas spectacularly well. We had a private dinner on our wedding night having had to cancel our reception and elope due to COVID, and thanks to Grieg, it was as memorable as the original would have been! And he catered to some extremely complex and unusual requests that helpedake our celebration unique and personalised.
What a magical evening, the food was delicious, the lamb was cooked to perfection. High recommend Grieg and Julie.
Last night we had the opportunity to get Grieg out to cook dinner for me and my wife at the injidup resort we could not fault griegs cooking was one of the best 3 course meals we have had, defiantly recommend trying.
Last weekend we stayed at Peppermint Grove Beach near Capel for a 60th. We booked Olsen's Catering for our dinner of 6. The dinner was spectacular. I had personally had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. Definitely in the top 3 steaks I've ever had, perhaps even the best (I can't think of a better one...) Everyone else was extremely happy with their choices; more steak, fish, chicken etc. The oysters and chicken terrine for entree were amazing, too. All in all, I can't fault. The staff were friendly, the food was 10/10, and the overall experience was faultless. Would highly recommend to anyone!
The seafood chowder was exceptionally good. The seafood was melt in your mouth exquisite, and the fish stock base (made from fish that Grieg had caught himself) was delicate and perfectly balanced. The smoked salmon was personally hand smoked to perfection (using a trio of selected wood chips/ sawdust and other ingredients). Combined with Grieg's genuine hospitality, we had a special and perfect night to remember. Thank you Grieg.
Absolutely great experience. I booked the romantic night in package, my wife and i were staying at Forest Rise chalets for a babymoon, I decided to get hold of Olsens catering after hearing about them through the accomidation. The menu choices were amazing, they responded very promptly, The chef we had (Jake) was easy going whilst being very professional. Honestly cannot say a bad thing about the whole experience. 10/10
