Staff here are always friendly and helpful. They explain everything to you carefully and answer any questions you have, whether it's about the appointment booking process, the screening process, the actual donation process or what happens with your blood or plasma afterwards. I've become quite a regular, but they never get complacent and always go through the entire process thoroughly. I have nothing but praise for the wonderful staff at this centre.

This place is hopeless. My husband needed desperately to give blood to reduce his iron levels. We were travelling by caravan from Queensland back to Tasmania. We phoned to make an appointment, we had a doctors letter, but the Red Cross (who supposedly want people to give blood) said we would have to GO ONLINE to become blood donors and that they couldn’t take us otherwise. We are in the elderly age bracket, and they turned us away. Not everyone has a computer strapped to their back. Disgusted! I wouldn’t give any stars, and I will no longer support Red Cross appeals of any kind.
