SALES PITCH Sign the contract Sept 1st and old kitchen will be demolished in 6 weeks for new one to be installed over 2 weeks and Pay Full Cost Up Front. EXPECTATION- new working kitchen first week of November REALITY Kitchen was demolished Dec 9 and was finished 11 weeks and 3 days later . Yes you read that right - from demolition to finish it took them nearly 3 months. From deposit to installation took 13 weeks So a 6 month exercise Now we wait for all the defects to be rectified. We have emailed twice asking when we will see someone but no one has responded. I urge you to look elsewhere if you are considering this company. I am very unhappy with the huge amount of drawn out time firstly for the drawings and secondly for the kitchen itself- the unprofessionalism at all levels of management -the lack of care for the customer and the greed to take all our money and offer us such a substandard result - no award winning kitchen here!! No offer to refund some money for the huge inconvenience of living with a dusty work site for 3 months and tradesmen coming and going for weeks without much notice ( at one point my husband started project managing so we could plan our days) No compensation for cooking in just an airfryer in the garage while car was in street. I have posted a review on another site and had someone else reach out in the same position. They are seeking legal advice and asked if we would join. If anyone reading this has had similar experiences and feel helpless please reach out and I can put you in touch. No certificate of insurance was given to us as required by the home building act 1989 .This is not a place you want to find yourself after paying tens of thousands of dollars for something so major. The new cupboards have been replaced since the wrong holes were drilled but the rest is as is. There are a lot more chips - too many to post but you get the picture as to the quality offered up by Impala. The Joy of my new kitchen was destroyed by this company.

We are very unhappy with Impala. We hired them to design and install a kitchen including removing a wall. We were happy with the design part of the process and then decided to go ahead with the works. We were given a three week estimate to job completion. Now, 8 weeks later we are STILL living out of a suitcase for no reason we can see other than poor project management. Communication is pretty terrible and has been throughout the job. I have asked numerous times for scheduling and updates and barely got an answer. Now, finally our project manager told us that subject to cleaning it should be ready to move in. Photos attached of the job currently. The island bench is on a visible slant into the kitchen due to a decision made without our consent to install benching on VERY uneven flooring (straight after jackhammering tiles, not even swept as far as I can see). Cabinetry is uneven (see top of dishwasher), the cornices on the roof are messy, gyprocking still not finished. Not sure why he is sending cleaners now when the job is nowhere near finished. Even now, communication is poor - I have no idea what the plan is to fix these issues. I have also emailed Impala twice re the defects and the blow out in timing and have never received a response or any explanation. Impala sold us a "high end product" - what a joke. And they tried to make us pay 100% of the cost upfront (except for 500!!) before any works had started (pretty sure this is illegal for jobs over 20k) and kept calling us to chase the remainder of the payment. I highly recommend finding a different kitchen company for your renovation.

I signed a contract with Impala to remodel my kitchen in September last year, six months later my kitchen remains half completed. Impala Kitchens have failed in so many respects it is difficult to catalogue concisely all the mishaps, errors and sheer ineptitude which has occurred throughout this renovation. Many of the Impala employees and sub-contracted tradesmen were inexperienced and/or careless and I was placed in a position of having to source my own tradesmen to undertake much of the requisite work. Impala also demanded full payment for the renovation before the installation work had even commenced so I am now having to try and get money back from them as I paid for plumbing and tiling work which Impala did not carry out. As this point they are refusing to refund me this money which is plain fraudulent. I bitterly regret using this company and could not recommend them to anyone.

Impeccable customer service from beginning to end, high quality workmanship from loyal and friendly tradespeople, and excellent design ideas. I am delighted with the end result and can’t wait to work with Impala again in the future.

We now have a beautiful new kitchen which was designed, built and fitted by Impala. All structures in the kitchen have been installed using quality products and they work well. The attention to detail by all Impala tradesmen was excellent. The best feature of the whole project was Impala's cooperative and helpful attitude as we ran into problem after problem with our uneven and crumbling floor slab. They offered suggestions and even arranged for their tradesmen to do small jobs which were not part of the original quote. No problem was too difficult for them and they even willingly shuffled their own schedule to fit in with our floor problems. I could not have been happier with Impala and highly recommend their quality, service and cooperation.
