Healthy with simple ideas. I hope they stay open to the other end of the tunnel. Really not much places nearby open for a quick balanced work lunch like this place. Pray for the business to do well in 2021.

Great to see Sydney's best poké restaurant finally land in Melbourne. Expect great flavour and texture combinations alongside fresh fresh seafood! The founders were part of the serving crew today for launch, no other restaurant chain is so down to earth and authentic. If you've never tried Fishbowl, you're missing out big time!
18 for a tiny salad bowl with 5 pieces of tuna. The food was so full of burnt almonds I couldnt even taste the fish, it tasted more like a nut roast than a seafood bowl. Not enough food and poorly balanced taste-wise. It was so small I had to make a sandwich after for lunch.
18.9 for a large bow that has no taste and a small chunk of salmon. Full of bland nuts and leafs. Not at all filling and had to buy a top up meal later.
I'm not usually one for poké bowls, but Fishbowl is an exception. They're a healthy fast casual concept that's boomed in Sydney and has now come to Melbourne. The bowls are more of a DIY salad bowl with a Japanese spin than a traditional poké bowl, meaning more room for customisation and interesting ingredients. I tried the tofu bowl two ways - one as it's offered on the menu with rice, almonds, seaweed and veg. The other was a custom variation with rice noodles, avocado, wasabi peas, pickled ginger and tahini dressing. I prefer the second bowl but both were great. Fishbowl has also worked hard to create a young, contemporary vibe through their uniforms, fitout and the like, which is one more reason it stands out against competitors.
Good fresh food, great option in Docklands.
Fishbowl displayed items on the menu that were not available. They delivered one meal (we ordered two) instead of replacing it with something else. We had to order from somewhere else and provided no response when we attempted to contact them.
Totally exceeded my expectation. Their Tokyo Tamari dish has literally become my staple.
