Very Good for korean food. Beware, Foods without photo in menu can be really different than what u think. Also Better to go with booking. Busy most evenings.

We visited on Saturday so it was busy and packed with people so I recommend to book the table! Staffs were friendly and served nicely. We had bbq and its always pleasing and successful choice. Side dishes were yum too.

Hang A Ri kimchi is a popular Korean bbq and restaurant in Dickson. They have individual rooms available for large groups for bbq. I thought the food was cooked/prepared well and prices were ok. The sides dishes were quite delicious too, especially the potatoes and macaroni salad. The service however was quite disappointing with a few wrong orders and mistakes made during the night. Also the coal was extremely hot and was left uncovered for about 15min before we had to ask for a plate to cover it due to how uncomfortable it became. The restaurant also tends to get quite stuffy, even for a Kbbq restaurant. Overall it’s one of the good options in Canberra for kbbq.

Some of the best chickens I have tasted. Way better than most chickens and normal meals in general. If I can recommend anything I would absolutely recommend the Galbi and Chicken. The chicken is fantastic and the sauce was spectacular and great restaurant look. Great food!

The service was horrible, it ruined my day. When we just walked in the door, a waitress asked us if we were having BBQ or not, we responded we don’t know yet, we haven’t been given a menu. She gave us a menu and asked to decide straight away so it is “easier” for her. We felt it was rude and unwelcome to be there. My partner didn’t wanna eat there because of her attitude, but I was excited to have Korean dish so I decided to take away and take it to the pub where he decided to have a seat. However, I realized that take away isn’t allowed at the pub, so I went back to the restaurant with the take away. She looked at me like why I am here, so I said take away is not allowed at the pub so if it is ok can I please use your seating to eat my takeaway and her attitude wasn’t welcoming me at all to be there that she have to wipe the table again. Then while I was eating my food, my partner come back from pub to ask for my help because baby started crying so I had to pack up and go without finishing my food. I went to the pub, staff there were very welcoming smiling even baby was crying noisy and they let me finish my food in the pub. It was a relief. My noodle was soaked in the oil half centimeters, too oily... but flavor was good. Overall one star. Won’t be coming back.

The food is decent and the service is quick, except for when they forget your order. Only half of what we ordered got served at the table and after waiting for about 45 minutes and awkwardly eating plain rice (and no one noticed), we pointed out to one of the wait staff that we were still waiting on two dishes. We were told that they are bringing out the remaining dishes but only one of the two was served. After waiting around, and over an hour after we initially placed our order we decided to leave. At least we weren't charged for the food that wasn't served.

Hangari Kimchi is my new favourite Korean restaurant in Canberra. The variety on the menu is very impressive so even the most picky of eaters will find something they love. The staff are very friendly and helped cook everything on the charcoal hotplate for us. The fried chicken is very tasty and so many variety's it's hard to pick which ones you want (we had to use a random pick generator to make the final decision) The drinks menu has some unique non alcoholic mixed drinks that are just perfect to go along with the meal. The prices are on the higher side, but well worth the money. Will be back to try the other fried chicken!

Food was decent. The potato side dish was tastier than ones I have had in Sydney even. But the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I asked for a refill of the side dishes, and the server looked at me like I stole her lunch money. Told me to hand her the dishes in a similar gruff manner. I didn't feel like asking her for anything else after that! Even though I needed more sauce. I would go back if I was really desperate for KBBQ in Canberra.
