Is this a puppy farm, existing for the purpose of profit? Yes. But are the animals well looked after and clean? Also yes. It’s a double edge sword, and it depends on your ethics as to whether you’d support a business model like this. I’d just as easily find an ethical small-scale breeder on the Sunshine Coast as Diamond Valley Kennels.

Woody came to my family recently from Diamond Valley. I have checked the review saying they're farming dogs for profits, but I was desperate to find one and thought 'is there any breeder running their business not for profit?' I applied to some small breeders but no one replied back to me even they are changing 7000 per puppy. Diamond Valley is the one who replied back to me in 10 min after I have sent the email about enquiries and let me adopte my boy with almost half price. The staff are nice and friendly and most of all, very professional. My husband and I could get enough information how to take care of Woody for beginning. Woody is such a smart and good boy. We were expecting 1 or 2 weeks of sleepless nights as the plan is to let him sleep in the living room to prepare him to be home alone(we both full time workers even though my husband works just next door and coming back home during the day). But other than first night, he sleeps well from the second night. He already knows that we are here at home sleeping and will come back to him always. I can say that as he quietly wait for us in front of my bedroom door when he wakes up in the morning. The staff said that he is not really trained for anything. I believe he must be well socialised as growing up with his siblings and friends in the valley and received lots of love from the staff.
I have to disagree with the negative comments about Diamond valley cause if these people have actually visited they would know these puppies are very well cared for and the living condition are better than most back yard breeders. A very professional breeder set up in the wonderful Diamond Valley. All workers have a lot of knowledge and are very helpful. Very clean complex and all the puppies are very well cared for. I 100% recommended Diamond Valley to anyone who is looking to purshase a puppy !!!
We bought our puppy a month ago from the valley. Before we visited the farm, we were told there were no puppies at that moment. When we saw Sarah and her brother were playing in the playpen and the lady told us they both available. We did not expect we can purchase a puppy on the spot. The staff were very helpful. She arranged all the paperwork and all the puppy's stuffs and we brought Sarah home pretty smooth. Thanks to the Diamond Valley and staff for our plus 1 in the family.
This place is exceptional. Amazing staff members, beautiful area, everything is so clean and tidy plus they treat every puppy like gold. Highly recommend diamond valley kennels!!!
We bought our puppy today from Diamond Valley. The process has been amazing - we received updates and photos of our puppy weekly while we waited for her to be ready to be picked up. When we picked up our puppy, the service was exceptional and everything was explained so well. Lastly, our puppy has a great temperament and is such a happy little girl. Great experience!
So happy and in love with our new little addition to our family. Diamond Valley Kennels were super friendly and communicated with us once we made a deposit for our puppy. We were sent photos of his progress and were also contacted after we picked him up to make sure he had settled in. We would definitely recommend DVK to anyone looking to purchase a new fur baby family member!
We got our toy Cavoodle from DVK and they have been supportive on every step of the way. From letting us visit before we had decided to move forward, sending us weekly photos of our puppy before he could come home and allowing us to visit once he had had his first vaccination. We brought baby Reggie home and he settled in straight away with no issues. Took him for a puppy health check to the vet who confirmed he is in great health and a good natured pup. DVK sent us home with a lot of information and have checked in since to make sure the puppy is doing well. They are clearly well loved puppies and have amazing facilities and staff to support the dogs they have there.
