Food was fairly reasonable, albeit a little expensive. Courtyard was really nice, yet very busy! We were lucky to get a table. Challenging to get in with a stroller, but they allowed our dog which in the courtyard which was nice. Staff were pleasant, no real issues at all! Outside venue is great - just ensure you book ahead!

A number of weeks ago we decided at the spur of the moment to go out for lunch and chose Koukla as we had not been there for more than coffee. We ordered pizza and it was hot and tasty and really good. Just last week we went there with friends for lunch for my birthday. What a disappointment. I ordered pizza again and when it arrived it was barely warm and my husbands was the same. Our friends burger looked awful with a large slab of meat in the middle and little else. The chips with the fish and chips were overdone and not hot enough either. The point I make is that they need to consistently put out the food hot and tasty. This seems to not be a priority. Their dessert menu has a lot of cakes on it and it is obvious they have been in cold storage for ages as they are hard, tasteless and any cream is also hard. We are locals to the Daylesford area and I would have thought this business wanted to keep you coming back as during the week you don't necessarily have tourists. It is very disappointing because we will be very hesitant to go back there. Just concentrate on putting out a consistently good menu of food and when it comes to cakes only offer what is fresh that day. How hard can this be???

Very nice courtyard garden setting out the back with a cozy atmosphere. Pizzas were delicious with abundant toppings. Great service even during the busy Easter period.

The coffee here is pretty good. Lunch menu is pretty whatevs... just your average pub meals but at premium prices. Food really isn't anything amazing. Hard to work out what vibe this place is going for. Aesthetic of the place is cool enough but the overall experience doesn't correlate to the pricing at all. Realistically you'd expect a lot more from this place.

Three stars because of the nice atmosphere, location, interior/exterior design. Pizza is over priced IMO and not wood oven, Greek salad was pure disappointment, they put Italian dressing on it & balsamic glaze - it needs only a nice balsamic, olive oil, salt & cracked pepper that’s it... The app based online order ruins part of the experience, no table water and had to ask for cutlery. I really like this place so i hope it improves for my next visit, I’ll give it a year I’d say.

Pretty miserable breakfast experience. Fritters were saturated in an overly sweet sauce. Way too rich. Breakfast roll was missing the fried egg - was so over the poor quality that I didn't have the energy to bring it up with staff. Much better coffee across the road at Larder. Would advise avoiding.

Phenomenal and historical spot in the heart of dalesford city, great coffee and spot to watch all the vehicles drive into town.

Very average food and coffee. Rude staff with lack of empathy, unawareness of their accepted in-house rules, unwilling to help the customer. No baby change room facility. Staff was very rude. Since no change room facility was available and their toilets are so cramped that if you open door you will hit person inside washing their hands. One of staff suggested to use lounge room of their hotel facility for changing baby on the floor for my 8 week old baby. On reaching there another staff member stoped us and insisted to reach out to manager. He was unwilling to provide alternative or call manager on our behalf simply because “he was on his break” instead he wanted to use his break time for creating inconvenience for customer. Then while looking for manager another staff member suggested us to use the same room again. It was lot of to and fro which caused time waste and inconvenience for us. Avoid this place and hotel Frangos for meal if you have baby with you. I use to visit this place pre Covid time, they had nice menu and polite staff. On my recent visit noticed all things I like are not there anymore including wood fired pizza.
