This is the second time we have stayed at Worendo Cottages and we will be returning for years to come. Since our previous stay, Worendo has added more cottages, all with amazing views of the valley. It was such a peaceful weekend away with the family. The kids loved feeding the cows and sheep at 5pm every afternoon. The Lost World national park is very close for those wanting to explore. Nathan was a great host and i can't wait to return with the family in the future.

We are finishing our time at Worendo tomorrow and are sorry to be leaving. We are staying in the main homestead and attached treehouse. Nathan and Jodie are attentive hosts, checking in and offering to help set up the fire in the evening. The family loved the river walk and kids kayaking as well as the Lost World walk in the National Park. I'll be back for sure.

We stayed in the Wild Lime Cottage. I was concerned it would be too small for a family of four because it only had a queen bed and converted sofas for the kids. But I was WRONG! Our two girls slept on comfortable beds in the lounge and the place was huge! A big deck overlooking an incredible view. A massive kitchen (they do cooking schools here in non-COVID times) with a lovely big dining table that we could spread out a large puzzle on one end and eat with plenty of room on the other end. The sheep who visited were lovely, and we got to hand feed them (along with some cattle) in the afternoons with Nathan. Nathan was great. So easy going. We went to the creekside hut for an hour or so too. The creek was a bit too wild for swimming (it was just after the floods) but it was such a lovely place to chill out and have a picnic. Nathan introduced us to his horses too, who were also lovely animals. We plan to go back some time and check out more of the local area. And for longer too, so we can enjoy the relaxation of the cottage itself. Highly recommended!!

We had a weekend away in the Wild Lime Cottage and absolutely loved it! The views from the cottage are gorgeous and the kitchen is set up with everything you could possibly need. The afternoon animal feeding was also a treat. Can't wait to visit again!

A beautiful weekend at Worendo Cottages. The house is both beautiful and comfortable and view up the valley is amazing, Nathan and Jodie were the perfect hosts. You really get the feeling that this is one of their family homes and that they want you to have a great experience. Our kids loved the animal feeding which was very professionally organised. For example, you feed the sheep from inside an enclosure with large gaps that allow the kids to get close to the animals without being knocked over. Nathan also organised an native animal encounter for us where our kids interacted with native animals in a safe way guided by a knowledgeable ranger named Louise. Highly Recommended!

Nathan & Jody provided a first class stay in true A country comfort style. We stayed 3 leisurely days in the "Treehouse" cottage enjoying sleep-ins in their comfy bed, in-house cooking in their fully equipped kitchen, country walks along rolling hills, befriending the local farm animals including bluey the sheep, swimming & kayaking in the local creek with no one else around and our cheese bickies and wine, all the while enjoying unobstructed views across the magnificent valley of "the lost world". There is no wifi so we downloaded a few movies before we came and watched those in comfort at night. This is a beautiful untouched part of the world and we will definitely be returning, hopefully to take in some of the local hiking opportunities. Thank you for such a relaxing stay it was exactly what we needed.

Worendo cottages were great. We stayed 3 nights in the tree house. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Hosts did an excellent job making our stay a delight. Highly recommend. Animal feeding was a highlight for our two children.

Our family recently stayed here over the Christmas period. Honestly, this was one of the best family holidays we have had. For starters, the scenery is just magnificent - we stayed at the Wild Lime Cottage - we had breathtaking views of rolling green hills, Mt Worendo, and blue skies that seemed to go on forever. And this was the view from our verandah! The cottage itself is both cozy and cool, with a constant breeze pouring in through the ample windows and bifold doors; it's got all the amenities that you could wish for - a chef's kitchen, warm and inviting family room, main bedroom (with four poster bed), bathroom and an outdoor living area with BBQ that's just perfect for families. It's hard to convey the feeling of peacefulness and privacy that we experienced here. Our host, Nathan, went above and beyond - thank you so much for your excellent hospitality! Add to this the great location - we visited Lamington National Park, the Lost World picnic grounds, Stimpson Park, Burgess Park, Darlington Park - and the activities - kids kayaking, kids zip lining, bird feeding, sheep and cow feeding, bush walking, and roasting marshmallows over an open fire under a star filled night sky - truly a most memorable family holiday!
