Professor Haylen has not only restored my pelvic floor and my bladder, he’s restored my self-esteem and confidence. I’d been afraid to seek help for my prolapse for years till it reached the stage it was all falling right out. Professor Haylen was very understanding and supportive despite my coming when things were bad. He assured me that no matter how bad the prolapse, everyone ends up looking back to where they were in their twenties after surgery. He was right. He had to do testing to work out how my bladder was functioning. The surgery wasn’t too uncomfortable. Professor Haylen gives you confidence. He is very attentive and caring. He has a great team working with him. I can now get back my life.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Haylen for operating on my mum and repairing her prolapse. After the recovery, my mum and I enjoy participating in outdoor activities such as bush walking and running without searching for restrooms which was quite frustrating and challenging. I have noticed that my mums confidence has boosted quite dramatically due to her increased mobility and flexibility with different activities as she is enabled and empowered to improve her quality of life. She is not in pain anymore and both my mother and I are impressed with the quality and efficiency of Dr. Haylen and his staff during checkups and her surgical procedures. Dr. Haylen and his team are exemplar and truly deserve a golden award. I am profoundly pleased and acknowledge the hard efforts of Dr. Haylen and his staff for helping this struggle and transforming our hearts into pure joy and happiness. Thank you very much.
My experience with Professor Haylen and his highly professional staff was excellent. Professor Haylen was very pleasant and clearly very knowledgeable. He tested my bladder before explaining the different options for my urinary incontinence. I chose surgery which was pretty non-invasive. I returned to see him 8 days after the operation totally dry, able to cough and sneeze without any leakage. It’s going to make a huge difference to my life. I am most grateful to Professor Haylen and his team.

I am really grateful to Professor Haylen for a wonderful combination of professionalism and caring about a patients outcome. Professor Haylen guided me and my husband through this surgery, describing what would happen before, during and after surgery. I was extremely nervous about this surgery, as I had this same operation 5 years ago with another doctor. I never received the professionalism from my other doctor, nor did I have a great outcome like this. I was afraid I would not find a highly skilled surgeon, who would listen to my concerns. Professor Haylen gave me the respect, compassion and trust I needed. Until now I have associated the word mesh, bladder and prolapse surgery, with misery pain and sadness. Being under the watchful eye of Professor Haylen, I now associate my surgery with health, recovery and happiness. My doctor said Professor Haylen was an extremely professional doctor. Professor Haylen was recommended to me by two of my girlfriends who had seen him for different pelvic floor problem They'd had such good results I decided to see him too. He had a very friendly and caring manner and explained the procedure to me in detail. Having now recovered from a pelvic floor repair I'm delighted with the outcome. Prior to surgery neither my bladder or bowels worked properly. Now I'm so much more comfortable and feel normal again. Also his staff were very helpful and kind throughout.
By far one of the worst experiences. The doctor and his staff were difficult and unprofessional. The doctor tried to push us into doing a surgery but then didn't have the patience to explain to us the implications of not doing the surgery. We were then billed for this unhelpful experience when we were eligible for billing under healthcare and then when I tried to call about this billing it went to 3 or 4 different centres and I had to explain the issue over and over again. I would definitely not be going back.
