Great place for self defence. Great gym, classes and instructors. I highly recommend this place to learn boxing, kung Fu and many more styles of martial arts.

The best place to raise your children for this life and provide them with morality and strength. The trainers are wonderful to deal with children and all ages look like parents thank you very much

Great place for kids (and adults) to not only learn the art of Kung Fu but also skills and resilience building for life. The Sifu’s do a fantastic job with the students to get the best out of each individual. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent school. My daughter has trained at Dandenong since 2009 & she has progressed steadily as a young martial artist. She's almost 9 years old now, & has participated in several tournaments already, holding her own against boys around her age. Sifu Bruce & Sifu Sarah are passionate in their instruction to all the kids. I think this is due to them being a married couple with their own kids training there too. I certainly believe this is why they've created a warm family atmosphere along with excellent martial arts instruction. The instruction is Wing Chun based, with a direct lineage from William Cheung, the current Grandmaster. There is an emphasis on integrating the practical elements of other styles too, much like Jeet Kune Do. As a former martial artist, I can see they strive to teach what really works. It's pervasive in the instructors & class, & you can tell by getting to know the gang. Top notch!

I rate this place good but only just. They offer decent training but they charge too much for what you get. The charge 4 1/2 star rates for a 3 star service maybe 3 1/2 at best. This is meant to be a wing chun kung fu school but it excels most when they train on everything but kung fu. The kung fu itself it very inconsistent in the way its taught depending on who you get an as instructor for that class. They also bag what they dont understand from otherstyles which is wrong, they should try and learn and see why others do it. They shift back and forth from kung fu to boxing to other varieties and dont really know what their identity is. They have a location in oakeligh and one in dandenong. The dandenong is far superior with the intructors being a level above their oakleigh counterparts. Also at oakleigh they can be very arrogant and think they are much better than what they are. I recommend you check it out if your after a kung fu school, one of the better ones around. However as a martial arts school they fall more on the average side. I should in fairness point out their dandenong school is very large, roomy and well laid out but you more than pay for this in your fees. The school is very generic and service tends to lack individual attention to students. Overall 6.5/10. (7/10 for dandenong and 6 for the oakleigh school.)
