CHEAP - CARELESS - COULDN'T GIVE A STUFF - CERTAINLY NOT FIRST CLASS (See photos 09.03.2018 to back up review) Completed Window replacement as per quoted amount. No care, huge mess, left both fragmented / broken glass and damaged the timber window frames. NEGATIVE • Left a huge mess where any work completed • Glass fragments left on and in bed linen • Broken glass left on the floor in the entry and front stairwell. • SMASHED the original cottage timber frames to replace the glass • SPLIT the timber of the frames and left the timber broken on the furnishings nearby or on the floor. Tenant had to request Mike reinstall his frame in the first bedroom instead of leaving it on the floor. • HAMMERED the timber back into place with a normal steel hammer ( not rubber mallet) cracking the paint and damaging the timber itself • Nails not hammered in right with gaps where the glass installer Mike RIPPED the timber off. Then SMASHED it back into place. • Tenant stated the only conversation by Mike who instalked was that he was starting work in bedroom 3 and working clockwise to the front entry. Mike stated bedroom 3 would have to clean their bedroom. DADS GLASS FIRST CLASS When sent an email regarding the mess, broken glass - this was Mike's response. "I told them to use a vacuum cleaner when I went , glaziers do not run around with vacuums in there trucks" EXCUSES IN COMMENT BELOW * The quoter / installer Mike at no time stated or informed within the quote or otherwise that ripping the frames off was a requirement? Had this been stated, management could have provided / installed scaffolding. * Tenants stated NO attempt was made by Mike to clean up except put stuff in a box. When I read out Mike's email the tenant stated the following: Mike arrived and said he would begin in bedroom 3 and move clockwise to Room 1. Mike stated that the occupant in room 3 would have to clean the mess up.
