Pat and Ann from Surf Easy run the best surf school ever! My surfing confidence and skills have improved enormously and the community they have welcomed me into is lovely. Highly recommend if you’re looking for lessons
Could not recommend this surf school enough! My lesson was great, I had a young lad who’s name I can’t remember for the life of me. Really should of done this straight after the lesson! But he was a great teacher made me feel really comfortable and taught me a lot about how waves work and answered any questions I had (there where a lot). I enjoyed and raved about it so much I booked a second and my girlfriend joined me. This time we had the main man himself and we had a great time! Everyone involved in this company where lovely, professional and super friendly. We both have caught the surfing bug and are now currently surfing in Byron as we continue our travels down the coast! Thanks so much guys! This surf school is class!
Highly Recommend SurfEasy Surf School. Pat & Ann are extremely accommodating and friendly. We ran an Active Day Out for our community and Pat & Ann welcomed them with open arms and calmed down the nervous jitters amongst the group. They were very professional, they supplied great quality boards suitable for the level of surfer and were helpful out in the surf. "BEST DAY EVER!!!" as said by one of the surfers today.
We chose Surf Easy because they had the best reviews on Google and they more than exceeded our expectations! Great communication with Ann when organising our lesson and she was very accomodating to our limited availability. Our instructor Patrick was experienced, passionate, patient and fun and we were standing within our first few waves! Fantastic value for money and a very personalised lesson - and the most beautiful location to boot! Highly recommend!!!
Introduced my 6 year old son to surfing with 2 private one on one lessons. The instructor was awesome and had an awesome understanding of teaching young children. Highly recommended and a great location to learn with gentle surf
The instructor from this surf school was extremely rude to me and very unprofessional in his approach to lessons with his customers. He set up his instruction on the beach right next to where I was playing soccer with my 3 kids. There was plenty of other spaces where he could have given his instruction. When the kids soccer ball came across where he was giving his lesson, he told me I had to move! When I explained that I was playing in this space first, he proceeded to call me a “goose” and that I was setting a bad example for my children. SURFING SCHOOLS DO NOT OWN THE BEACH! Very unprofessional and rude, especially in front of customers and young kids.
We booked the school holiday program for our son and from the moment we booked our first lesson, we were thrilled with the fantastic service we received. Ann was incredible at managing the booking process for our different lessons, including accommodation last minute changes and was a warm, welcoming and friendly face when we rocked up each day. Pat was an awesome instructor - the perfect balance of technical tips, advice and encouragement. Our son progressed in leaps and bounds with each lesson and has become a hugely enthusiastic surf grom! Will definitely be booking Surf Easy again!
