My friend and I had a private lesson and it was a blast! we're both complete beginners and Wade was amazingly patient, and both of us stood up (eventually)! We will absolutely be back, such a great way to spend a couple of hours!

I had nothing but a fantastic experience with currumbin alley surf school. I booked 4 lessons (3 group and 1 one on one session) and I wasn't a pro surfer by the end of it, but I had the fundamentals and was riding waves by the 4th lesson and understanding the intricacies of the sport. Johnny and Wade were both brilliant instructors, and although their teaching methods were different, I learned valuable lessons from both of them. I'm 34 years old, over 6 feet tall, weigh over 110kg and never held a surf board in my life, but I still managed to catch waves and had a fun time. For anyone who is green to the sport and want to give it a go, these guys are worth their weight in gold and they've inspired me to take up surfing.

hey that was nice and easy! Conditions were perfect and Jonny walked us through everything like a breeze! Definitely better value than just renting a board! I'd def recommend these guys!
