My partner and I had a great time visiting the winery - we signed up for the 3:30 tour/tasting and got to sample the wines, walk around the winery, and received a glass of wine of our choice with a lovely cheese platter. Glenn & his son Alex even sat and had a glass with us as we were the last to leave. Highly recommend to anyone in the area - friendly owners, great wine, cozy atmosphere, great value (plus Lulu the farm dog)
Can’t recommend Craigie Knowe more highly! Glenn and his team deserve 10 stars. We dropped in for a tasting and were delighted with the delicious cheese board, the friendly gorgeous dogs, the beautiful outlook and most of all the above and beyond service. Glenn made our visit so enjoyable, he is genuinely warm and caring, very enthusiastic and you can see this translate to the exceptional quality wines (though they are still priced very well). Do yourself a favour and pop by when you can!
Stopped here for lunch on our way to Freycinet Xmas Eve. Beautiful winery and great service. Enjoyed the tasting and also the cheese board. Thanks for the tip re food for Christmas Day - we went straight to Bicheno after this, as recommended, and stock up, before going to our hotel!
Had a tasting today, staff warm and friendly. No preasure to buy but brought 2 bottles. Included some information on the winery history. 2 gorgeous friendly dogs.
Wish I could rate more than 5 stars! Not only do they have amazing wine but they also have fantastic, personable staff! It’s not just a wine tasting, it’s an experience.
Really enjoyed this vineyard. So chilled. We brought our cranky old dog, herd of kids, and settled in for some delicious cheese, chocolate, and wine. Wildflowers everywhere.
Glenn and the team are so lovely and the wine is fantastic. Excellent opportunity to pat some dogs also
