Those is the second best Hut on the overland track, great size hut with great views, rooms and awesome photo oppurtunities. A great spot to rest after a long days walk.

The hut itself is quite small, but there are plenty of tent platforms. BEWARE the possums are huge and tenacious. Store food in the huts if possible or in the MIDDLE of your tent. Both of our tents got bitten/scratched through by possums as we had the food up against the side. Lake Windermere is a fair walk from the actual site, but is a great swimming hole.
Great hut, cosy and warm.
Not a gas station, but the locals were friendly.
